m~
another beautiful entry. really, this one is longer but still holds together. an edited version could be a nice into to a section of a cookbook that emphasized the careful, yet hearty use of common herbs. so lovely to read this.

What a wonderful, sweet, (and highly aromatic) piece!

If you want some easy herb growing in small spaces, go for mint and basil. Trust me; you'll have so much that you won't know what to do with it all!

Anyway, thanks for sharing 'Rosemary'- you are a gifted writer!

Rosemary was my most used herb in 2005. Hope it continues into 2006. I recently used it in Potato pancakes and loved it.

What a perfectly lovely post . . . and how lucky you have been to have the fragrance of rosemary associated with such love and happy times. I have a yearning to plant rosemary now!

Amy, thank you so much for telling me that. It means a lot to me to know that I wrote something that touched you and helped you a little. I hope the break up isn't treating you too badly, they are never fun. Take care!

Hey Marisa, you didn't mention that your Mom and I named our little house fix-up company "Rosemary Properties," and that we always leave each house with a Rosemary bush planted somewhere on the property.

Dear Marisa, I stumbled across your site about a month ago, when having split up with my boyfriend and feeling a bit stressed at work, I sat at my desk and tried to find some solace in what others had written about break ups...and found Apartment 2024. For the first time in a long while I felt incredibly calm and comforted, and have been reading ever since. I believe everyone has something special in them that is meant to be shared because that one thing makes someone elses day/month/world, and they might not even know it. I wish you every luck in becoming a writer.. I definately think its your special thing.. and thank you for being the one thing that picked me up that day when I was sitting at my desk and feeling sad. You really made my day, and I hope knowing that, it might make yours. Take care and keep writing!
