That was really nice of you, I have been the receiving end of such kindness and it really helps a lot! Good on ya for being brave and helping.

Random acts of kindness.

I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good thing, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow human being let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

God bless you, that's a wonderful story. It makes me warm all over...like I was there.

Who knew Chestnut street could be so treacherous! When I had my spectacular fall and ankle sprain it was in front of the Continental at 18th and Chestnut. Since I landed on the a woman's broken foot she got the bulk of the help (I still feel bad about that...it's one thing to hurt yourself, but worse when you hurt someone else as well) I did get compassion and help from the great girls at CFEVA once I convinced myself I wasn't seriously damaged and walked 3 more blocks to then discover I was seriously damaged. I know I am grateful there are people like you patrolling Chestnut helping out hapless strangers!
