		<description>Hi there. I just stumbled into (or upon?) your blog from the Metroblogging Philadelphia site. I, too, was at the AWP conference. I'm an MFA student at Vermont College, and really resonate with many of your feelings. 

I really enjoyed the readings you mentioned, and I went to some really helpful sessions (although the one on blogging was not what I expected). But I do find myself floating in that sea of displacement you mentioned. And whatever else that does, I think it changes the way I interact with those few writers out there who are younger and more inexperienced than me.
