A Friday night dinner of take-out from Tiffin with Shay. I love Indian food and so rarely eat it these days. It’s a situation I must remedy!

TEDx comes to Philly, coordinated by our most talented friend Roz. It was a most inspirational and moving day.

A pulled pork ravioli at Amuse, the restaurant at Philly’s new Le Meridien hotel (carved out of a former YMCA. The food there was absolutely amazing.

A dinner of sauteed spinach, cauliflower puree and meatloaf (all grass-fed beef). A classic meat and two veg dinner.

Recently, I came across fire extinguisher while doing a bit of hall closet purging. As you can see from the tag, it is more than 30 years old. Obviously, it’s no good as a fire extinguisher anymore (although I wonder, could it be recharged?). However, I can’t quite bear to throw it away. It has such charming lines and heft.
