A giant fish taco and quick cole slaw. A good dinner.

My 33rd birthday is just a few weeks away, which means that the end of this photo a day project is rapidly approaching too. I’ve done this every day for two years now and I’m not sure if there will be a third. I spent a couple hours catching up on posting photos tonight. I was nearly two months behind. I’ve been taking the pictures, but finding those moments to post them has felt impossibly hard and I can’t put my finger on why.

I don’t want this blog to go away. It’s been so vital to my life over the last seven years (boggles the mind, doesn’t it?). But with the amount of freelance writing I do, along with trying to keep the other blog afloat, there’s not a ton of energy left for joyful free writing. Which is sad.

I’m going to work on figuring all of this out. Stay tuned.

Photo a week? A month? I’ve enjoyed these posting for a while now, even though sometimes I felt a bit like a voyeur. You have a talent for writing.
p.s. my favorite post will always be the Santa/Ood, just because I know there are other Who geeks out there.

OK… here’s the reasoning I always try on myself: 1/125 of a second? Who doesn’t have time for that in their life?

Obviously, it doesn’t always work. But the fact is, the time you spend, no matter how slight, on your personal interests, has a way of paying itself back in your professional life.

My interests, of course, are suspect. I would miss this blog very much if it went away. I enjoy your pictures … and the words you choose to put together with them.

Thank you for that. You’re right too. I feel more balanced and joyful when I take the time to make a photo and write a few words about it. I’d miss this site too if it went away.
