My favorite way to cook chicken breast – quickly marinated in minced garlic, grated ginger, cumin, salt, pepper and a splash of olive oil. A sprinkle of chopped cilantro goes on at the last minute.

I helped organize a dinner tonight at church to honor people who give generously of themselves to the community. We decorated the front of the sanctuary and lit all the candles (including the chalice). It was really lovely.

Philadelphia has been blanketed under heavy fog for the last 24 hours. It has the power to erase the tops of buildings and paints everything in the most calming blue.
