The last few days have been all about the book. This is my master recipe list, which has been revised and rewritten at least six times.

A few red berries still clinging to their branches after the Thundersnow! on Wednesday and Thursday.

I spent the bulk of the day sitting in that chair, working on the book.

I took advantage of the snow day to engage in a once-a-year task. The oiling of the wooden spoons.

The back alley of our building is lit in such a way that makes it appear as though it’s on fire when viewed from 20 stories up. It’s not ablaze though, that’s just its normal look at dusk.

All the bowls that got used at Sunday’s fondue party, waiting to be put away.

All bundled up after getting home from work. Within an hour I’d be totally wiped out by a stomach bug.

I took an oyster class at the Oyster House today with a collection of friends. I do love a good oyster.
